I first purchased a vacation home in 1994 and became a full time resident of Cabo San Lucas in 1998.  I have witnessed the extraordinary growth Los Cabos has experienced over the last 16 years.  What was once a sleepy little fishing village is now a major tourist destination. Many of these tourists were so captivated by  Cabo's beauty and wide array of activities that they decided to move here permanently or purchase a vacation home.

I joined Prudential California Realty-Cabo Gold Division in 2006. This was at the height of the real estate  boom time. Property was listed and sold so quickly that the closing companies could not keep up with the demand for service. The current economical climate "north of the border" has definitely changed the real estate market .  Pricing on both new and resale properties has been drastically reduced. Many sellers are even offering "seller financing". The exchange rate  for the peso is right around 12.50 to one..making your dollar stretch even further.
